Day Two Hundred Eighty-three

Neighborhood Color

I grabbed my camera and headed out into my neighborhood for a walk this afternoon. We haven’t approached peak colors yet this fall, but many of the trees and bushes are starting to turn red, burgundy, and yellow.

NeighborhoodMany homeowners in the neighborhood have planted mums again this year. I’ve never been a huge mum person, but I do like the added colors, especially the yellow.

As I headed by the park, I noticed that the flowering trees’ fruit has turned blue. I’ve photographed these trees before, including for a Daily Photo Challenge on Focus in August. I thought I’d try it again.

Neighborhood1First, I let the camera pick the aperture, then I increased and decreased it. I love how it not only changes the focus, but the color as well. Fun.
