Yes, walking was back to being more official today. My husband and youngest son joined me on the Old Plank Road Trail, a twenty mile long paved bike and walking trail converted from an unused rail line. We walked from mile marker 6.5 to approximately mile 7.4 (and back). We also walked a half-mile loop trail in the Hunters’ Woods, part of the Will County Forest Preserve, which was adjacent to the OPRT.
Once back on the trail, we also stopped at a playground that was between a residential area and the OPRT. It was a great park in a great place.
Good day, good walk.!
